Untitled 2014 Exhibition

I am pleased to be part of a group exhibition at the Menier Gallery, London Bridge, 20th -24th May.

  1. This image is wonderful in the enlarged view. I like the composition of the trees as expressions of a remembered past, and that they are also growing out of the past: loss and sorrow transmuted to forms more beautiful and bigger than we are.

    1. The composition of the trees are important, because when I thought about it they were growing around the trenches from 100 years ago. The pattern formed by the trees can be easily missed, but if you slow down and look around at your surroundings suddenly they become apparent. Its an almost secret code that nature leaves behind, they are expressions of a remembered past.
